In anticipation of playing more golf although not formalised in a 2019 golf project I decided last Autumn to acquire a set of clubs. Wanting to keep costs to a minimum i struck on the idea of an auction house.
In anticipation of playing more golf although not formalised in a 2019 golf project I decided last Autumn to acquire a set of clubs. Wanting to keep costs to a minimum i struck on the idea of an auction house.
Firstly I identified a golf bag which was described as lightweight yet sufficiently large to accommodate a full set of clubs and waterproofs etc. Its guide price was £40 to £60. Seemed ideal. At the auction my bid was successful at £40 plus auction costs which brought the total to £48.There was a small snag in that the bag had a full set of Carbon fibre shafted, Linx clubs- Bonus.
It shows that if you look around there are inexpensive ways of taking up a hobby.
