Choosing a Course

Choosing a course to play is not easy. Golf is supposed to be an expensive game but I don't wand to spend a lot of money incase I am unable to meet my objectives.
I have to decide where I will play.
There are a couple of givens.
Must be in Central Fife in order to be reasonable close to our new home
Must have no membership fees just annual playing fees
There should be practice facilities adjacent to the course
There are over 40 courses in Fife
